Eulji-ro is an old manufacturing town in Seoul, which consists of small factories. Even though many craftsmen have over 40 years of work experience, this town has recently started declining by reduced demand. Collaborating with a photographer, Sally Jo, this project aimed to capture the atmosphere in Eulji-ro through photos and interpret them into product design.
From inspiration to building prototypes, the whole process was taken place in the area. Also, every object is designed with materials from the district and manufactured by the craftsmen in the district.
